About this brew
Nelson Sauvin comes from New Zealand and it got its name for good reason. Brewers kept noticing how much it tasted like Sauvignon Blanc. You get white grape and gooseberry, a little flinty, a little tropical. Most hops give you citrus or pine. Nelson gives you a wine glass.
We dry-hopped it, which means the hops go in cold after fermentation is done. That way you get all the aroma and none of the bitterness that comes from boiling them. On a beer this light, it really shines.
